Auto Tech Racing is getting ready for the first race in the 2012 Formula Ford Zetec Danish championship. The teams have now finished a full and thorough rebuild of the cars, and are now undertaking the final adjustments to compete for this seasons pole position and the podiums.
Before the first race in the calendar, the two Aquila FZ1’s will do a Shake Down test on the 8/9 of May on Padborg Park. The setup will be completed for the first race of the season, which also takes place at Padborg Park on the 12/13 of May.
The drivers at the wheel this year will be Mikkel Byrialsen and in the other car a new name for the championship Kasper Bundgaard.

Auto Tech Racing is now going in to the second season of Formula Ford Zetec racing in the Danish championship, and there is no doubt that they mean business. Finishing with a very impressive second place in the championship and racing the entire season without any mechanical breakdowns.
The team consisting of students from the Automotive Technologist education at Aarhus Tech were very professional and matriculate. And arouse quite a bit of attention when they right away started winning races and giving the other cars in the field a fight to the finish line.
Auto Tech Racing owes its success to the meticulous planning and professional attitude in the team structure; furthermore the team has acquired an Aquila FZ1 Formula Ford. This car has after a thorough rebuild preformed exceptionally well and is in no doubt contributing to the good results. The operation of the Formula Ford team has now been handed on to the next generation of students and they are revising the car and considering small changes to improve the performance even further.
